Life is full of (colourful) tablets and capsules

Recently, I had been to Ooty. As a typical native of this land, no journey would be completed without befriending the co-passenger of the journey. Yes!  my co- passengers came from Mumbai. An elderly couple, both got retired from government services, earning handsome pensions.
Our bus stopped at a motel, enroute to Ooty for dinner. My co-passengers both husband and wife started taking out strip after strip of capsules and tablets. Wait a minute! This was just a pre- meal session. Both husband and wife ordered south indian meals since they came from western part of the country. They couldn't relish the food because they were wary of oil content in the food. They somehow finished the food. After finishing, they once again started taking colourful tablets and capsules.  The elderly lady was taking more tablets than her husband.
Now, it was time for some lamenting. The lady started the story of upbringing her children " when they were children we were engrossed in our work. Now, they are adults, we are old and free, they have no time to look after us".
